Don Murchison

I am a family man with two primary school children, living in Greenwich for 30 years. Upon leaving school I studied law and teaching, then toured Australia and New Zealand as a variety artist, settling in Greenwich, to establish ‘Comedy Specialists,’ scripting and delivering individualised witty speeches.

My active involvement in the community has included facilitating ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forums for Federal and State elections, forming ‘Community Pathways Project,’ being Chairperson of Council’s ‘Bicycle Advisory Committee,’ initiating and organising Lane Cove’s ‘Big Family Fun Ride,’ being on Greenwich Public School’s School Council, and a regular participant in the Lane Cove Festival.

I am currently standing as an Independent for election to the Lane Cove Council.
